Microwave, Thank you for the welcome, I am only sorry I haven't been able to do much but pop in for a quick read here and there over the last 2 days. As far as the willingness to learn goes, you know how us blondes are, easily swayed to try anything once...but since I got the brains too, I gaurentee only once if it really stinks. Here is my startup for tweaking: Adelphia cable, basic package 3000/256 IPv6 (normal connection) with ethernet and Terayon modem I changed my rwin to 67160 based on avg. ping 118, mss 1460 D/L Speeds change all day from 2200k to 2600k, up and down sometimes as low as 1800k U/L Speeds hang pretty constant at 240k I would like to become a more reliable D/L, and increase it a bit. My google maibow takes 2-3 minutes to load. I am working off the assumption that the speed flux is my fault, mostly because everything almost always is! Let me know where I can go from here? Thanx
