Well, I have minimum stuff running in the background, and no Im not connected to a router, I just downloadedan updated driver for ethernet card and re-powered the modem with a little bit of increase to report Im currently using TCP optimizer set at 6mb max speed

Tried the TCP optimizer....maybe Im expecting too much... No I havent....saved the file ...do I need to put all those settings in to optimizer?

I just started using a utility called Tuneup Utilitys 2007....seems to help some... This is an old gateway....around 7 years old...pentium 4,1024 memory,geforce 7600 video card.... no I have not tried TCP optimizer.......

yes I tried several different sets of settings..rebooting after each...and did not seem to get much in the result dept Yes 4.08

Hi! Ive never posted before but here goes... My machine is older, but I defrag daily, clean daily, and run anti virus and scan all the time,so Im not infected.... I have Comcast 6mb tier....just wondering if this is a score I should live with or can I make it better somehow....I have tried cablenut and doesnt seem to make a bit of difference.........
