try to replace your memory (RAM).

whenever i get that problem, Screen is idle and there's no lights on the DVD drive and keyboard. i just clean my Memory(RAM) and put it back in. if it doesn't work, then bring that computer to a Computer-Technician Near you to diagnose the problem. or simply buy a new RAM if the store allows refund so you can replace it when it doesnt work.

it says: "Your account is temporarily deactivated."

usually when you're redirected but have logged in anyways it will just take about 5-10 minutes before you are registered again and you're account to be activated with the new settings.

so your saying that its okay that my account is deactivated and i just need to wait 5 - 10 mins before my account will be re-activated then i have to relogin my account again ?.

so you say ( automatically it will be reactivated without calling CSR ) ? please confirm.

If you change the color code to 5, your internet connection will be temporarily deactivated, then you have to call the CSR at *1888 and just simply tell them that your internet connection is temporarily deactivated and ask for reactivation. If they gonna ask you further what did you do to the internet settings, simply reply "i did not do anything, it redirects me to the portal.", then they will just reactivate your connection with no further question.

Before, you can change the color code at anytime you like, but they now impose  their authority to disable/enable your antenna's ability to roam/connect from access point to access points.

do i really have to call the CSR ?  I don't like telling lies and its not really good talking to those bulls#it CSR . im not used to it. Is there any other way ?

i tried color code 5, then after applying the changes i do what i ussually do after tweakin my canopy.

i close the exlporer then i open another. then  i was redirected to smartbro portal. then i logged in.

then here's what i get :

Your account is temporarily deactivated.

Please call our customer care hotline at (632) 7576280.

then i close the my browser and try to open another then enter yahoo.com and i was redirected again to portal. (this means i was blocked and not allowed to use the net)

then i change my color code back to 71 then everythings back to normal.

If you are able to access the canopy page, you will find it there at the tool section the AP list - which tells you about the details of access points near in your area, to include the number of users per access point.

i have a question here.

how do i know how many smart bro users are using the internet here in my place. because when its 12noon(lunchtime) i was getting poor internet connection until 6pm. and 6 -  10pm it was over 300 and below 400, but when it was 10pm upto 12noon(the otherday) i was getting a 500+ speed.

The admins here dont speak tagalog so they will not understand that you are actually apologizing to them...

@.jm: where in cavite? i'm from cavite too! is your basestation upgraded to 512 Kbps instead of 384Kbps? have you tried the tmn speedtest?

@SiraComputer : sa Green Valley po ako San Nicolas Bacoor Cavite. 500+ po pag 9pm or 10pm to 11am minsan hanggang tanghali. d ko po alam kung na upgrade na yung base station.

kaya lang pag tanghali hanggang 5 ng hapon nasa 100+ minsan wala pa 100 pag dating ng gabi 6 - 8 nasa 200+ hanggang 300+

( my canopy is not tweaked )

can anyone tell me how to lessen the speed of my upload rate ?

is there any prog. to use ? if yes can you tell me what prog. to use and how to use it ?

or... speedup my download speed while i lessen my upload rate.

and another question..

is there a program that allow me to control my download and upload rate ? something like.. if i want to stop uploading or pause it. its like pausing or stopping all the outbound packets if i want to while im allowing all the inbound packets (download rate is at normal)

my location is Paranaque City.

the base station is 300 meters far. too close isnt it ? its like 35 steps from my house to the bottom of the base station.

i dont use any tweak, cablenut, tcpoptimizer, canopy tweak or even a proxy. too slow isn't it ? for a 35steps far from base station.

i can access my canopy page. but i dont see any configure button at the navigation links even if i was logged-in as Admin.

at the navigations on the left side of my canopy page, there's no configuration link. i'm just seeing 4 buttons.  . unlike your screenies you have more than 5 links on your canopy page. and you have the button

first, i tried to do the canopy tweak, i open my canopy page. but theres no configuration button  on the navigations at the left part of the screen.

maybe im one of those unlucky persons that are prohibtted to edit the canopy settings.

um.. i just saw some of you talking about cablenut. well, according to your reviews. it does a lot. looks great, can you tell me how to make the cablenut ? the step by step tutorial pls. i dont want to mess-up my computer.i hope you guys help me. my last resort is cablenut.
