Just the other day as Docsis 3 was rolling out in certain areas I decided to powercycle my modem and now am seeing much more speed on the upload side, powerboost obviously but it stays on for roughly 40MB of the file, sweet Im on the 16/2 tier, and soon will be on the 22/5 tier Everyone in the chicago area should have been upgraded, just powercycle your modem If you were on the 6/1 tier it is now 12/2 If you were on the 8/2 tier it is now 16/2 16/2 stays the same speed If you wish to check to see if your area has the new 22/5 ultra tier or the 50/10 xtreme tier visit this link and add your zipcode, if its not available it will ask you to leave your email to be notified when it is available in your area. http://comcast.p.delivery.net/m/p/com/wid/wideband.asp :::.. thanks for the reply...maybe that speed will be close to true here soon if/when they release the 50/5 to chicago...cause I'll be the first in my neighborhood to get it..just like BLAST!

I have the Comcast 16/2 plan and just tested my upload speed on here using the SmarTest. Here is what I got :::.. Upload Stats ..::: Upload Connection is:: 6030 Kbps about 6 Mbps (tested with 15872 kB) Upload Speed is:: 736 kB/s Tested From:: https://testmy.net/ (Main) Test Time:: 2008/04/29 - 8:06am Bottom Line:: 105X faster than 56K 1MB Upload in 1.39 sec Tested from a 15872 kB file and took 21.562 seconds to complete Upload Diagnosis:: Awesome! 20% + : 654.69 % faster than the average for host (comcast.net) U-Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-O4X1LNAKC User Agent:: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.14) Gecko/20080404 Firefox/2.0.0.14 [!] Now thats 3 times faster than my advertised speeds. Im guessing a glitch with the site right??

I like my speeds, never a glitch..always fast I have the BLAST! tier 16/2...patiently waiting for my 50/5
