  1. Just the other day as Docsis 3 was rolling out in certain areas I decided to powercycle my modem and now am seeing much more speed on the upload side, powerboost obviously but it stays on for roughly 40MB of the file, sweet

    Im on the 16/2 tier, and soon will be on the 22/5 tier

    Everyone in the chicago area should have been upgraded, just powercycle your modem

    If you were on the 6/1 tier it is now 12/2

    If you were on the 8/2 tier it is now 16/2

    16/2 stays the same speed

    Bottom Line:: 116X faster than 56K 1MB Upload in 1.26 sec

    Tested from a 5983 kB file and took 7.338 seconds to complete

    Upload Diagnosis:: Awesome! 20% + : 626.88 % faster than the average for host (comcast.net)

  2. I have the Comcast 16/2 plan and just tested my upload speed on here using the SmarTest. Here is what I got

    Upload Speed is:: 736 kB/s

    Tested From:: https://testmy.net/ (Main)

    Test Time:: 2008/04/29 - 8:06am

    Bottom Line:: 105X faster than 56K 1MB Upload in 1.39 sec

    Tested from a 15872 kB file and took 21.562 seconds to complete

    Upload Diagnosis:: Awesome! 20% + : 654.69 % faster than the average for host (comcast.net)
