and I have a higher than avg upload as well. 

is this anything new for you?  because just in the last two weeks, my connection with SBC went from ~1.0 - 1.2 Mbps down to 600 or less. 

I don't get it.  I got SBC to send me a new modem, to see if that helps, (the current one is at least 5 years old.)

This all came up when I tried to upgrade to the 3.0/700 pro package, then it seems like the next day after requesting the upgrade my connection went to crap.
