Verizon User

I actually live in an oval-shaped court, and our side of the court was left out for some reason when they layed out the wires about 1/2 year ago. And now they are actually digging up my lawn up right now. I'm gettin my in-home installltion on Mon. They sent me a package saying they will offer Verizon FIOS 5/2 package for $29.95 per month, what I'm currently paying for DSL. AND they are offering a $50 rebate w/ free installation. I've decided to use the money to get the Linksys wireless router they offer for $64.95, and pay the rest myself. So only $14.95 out of my pocket for this boost in my speed. They've really been stalking me they call everyday eventhough I already agreed to the installation.

How do u do that? Like what about like settin up WEP. I tried to do it on one comp, but none of the other comps show a difference.

I just got a Westell Versalink router from Verizon. I was just wonderin if there is a good website to find out how to set-up some security on my connection so only computers in my house can use my connection. Maybe some type of username password thing. Sorry I'm such a newbie.

When I run Ad-aware Se Personal, it only gets half way though when the message Windows must restart because the Remote Procedure call.... and it says I have 45 seconds to save my data before Windows shuts down. CAN SOMEONE HELP PLZZ!

I have a ton of spyware too, and i went into safe mode with networkin and used ADWARE SE PERSONAL and AWARESPY and there are still SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MANY POP-UPS. Any advice? I have Auroroa, CashBackBuddy, etc.

I'm sooo confused, I thought a Mini PCI Card was the same thing. So that means I have to buy a wirless router right, that will detect the fact that i'm using Verizon as my IP?

Well I have Verizon, and I'm catching signals from my neighbors. Like my connection is really slow 40 KBS Download. I was just looking for a faster service.

I have a Westell Model 2200 and am a Verizon user and since my ethernet port broke I'm connecting through the internet thorugh a USB. I was just wonder a lot of people connect throgh a wireless router, and I was thinking of getting one, I already have the PCI card soo does that mean I have to get a new Interent Provier? Or does it just connect after I set up the router on my comp? Sorry I'm an amatuer
