OK, so I just got off the phone with Shaw... speed package is... extreme service, 15 mbs down and 1 mbs up.
zalternet, you may be on to something when guessing about line splitter. I live in a 4plex.. my neighbor is with Telus. So Telus was here 3 days ago fooling around with an octopus of cables and splitters on the outside of my building. Seems my connection has been lagging since. So tomorrow morning I will be replacing the cable going to my computer modem (as per requested by Shaw, although I think it's a waste of time). If that doesn't help with my speed they will arrange for a tech person to come over and see what's going on.
