yes i know people living outside the city that get big speeds mainly because there arent tons of people sucking on the bandwith, like kids downloading movies etc. all day long so they get monster speeds also.

your using cable? yeah cable downloads are really huge, im in chicago though and at times u can feel a lag with cable due the huge amount of users in such a small area. ADSL is the better choice for me. although i dont have a big download it still gets the job done. u know what i mean? of course its awesome to have a 4meg speed;p

yes it did, advertised speed is at 2 MBS, but im ona router at the time of the test i had other people online, didnt realize, i retried it and got about 1800. so im satisfied, thx its nice to look in these forums andsee some huge speeds .

got any ways of making a modest/decent/SLOW COMPARED TO YOU GUYS connection increase abit? i play online games regularly and its always nice and crisp yet....i would like to have some nice speeds, i know DSL isnt opportune for speeds but got any tips? basic things? thx Bob
