Oh I am on a wireless connection with a Belkin 54g router.
How exactly do you do the following? On my laptop or the desktop computer?
7. Never Connect to your modem via USB ! Always connect to your modem via
ethernet (NIC) and make sure you have the latest drivers for your NIC.
_Set your NIC duplex mode to 10mb half duplex for Cable, for DSL it depends on the ISP service unless you are using a router,
if so then set it to 100mb full duplex for both Cable & DSL. If you are using a router make sure you have the latest firmware.
It seems like my upload is fine but my download needs some help!
Thanks in advance for your time,
Alice

Hi vanBuren,
Went to the page you suggested and downloaded the new settings....Now, my problem is which settings do I use? I know it's for cable but what numbers? I have Wanadoo Broadband Cable 2000/520 on my wireless laptop. XP Home with SP2, Intel Pentium processor 1.5 GHz, 1024 memory. No spyware and everything else is alright too!
These are the tests from May 2005....same computer before I had to reformat....I think I used the
Cable/DSL 3000/384 cablenut settings...

Hi,
In May I used cablenut setting for M3. Since then, I have a new computer and want to apply the same M3 settings. My problem is is that I can't find the M3 settings. Could someone tell me if the still exist or are the renamed to something else?
Thanks in advance,
Alice
