Sorry i sound so dumb but how do i get to 'my sig'

if i can rememer all what i read on the read before i post bit but if this is what you need then let me know.

i run sony vaio windows xp sp2

AOL via Verizon dsl - westell model 2200

belkin wireless router

all windows updates updated and on auto update

Just gone to AOL 9.0 se with all there anti vir and spy stuff from AOLopt

also have adware se+

spybot

pc pitstop opt

can't remember if you needed any other info please don't shout or get frustrated as i am trying!

whoops something happened ok start again

i have checked what you asked in 6. Open Internet Explorer and select the Tools menu, go to Internet Options, Connections tab, click the

LAN settings button, make sure nothing there is checked

i have tick in auto detect proxy server

a tick in use a proxy server for LAN

i have scanned for spy and adware

i have cleaned all reg and old files trash old cls any dirty washing i can find

anything else?

is cclean a download? or just a check

whoops. my sig meaning my signature. the click me thingies right above the suepahfly.

there is some tuning tips in them. and as for the connection, post how fast your dsl should be. if you have the dsl independent of the aol account, i strongly recommend losing the aol. that's 25 bucks a month for nothing. iirc verizon dsl should be fine without the aol. and the router, is it connecting to the vaio via cable or wireless? putting a cable to the spot you usually use the laptop will help ensure constant speed.

oh p2p fix how do i know if i already have this or not or will it of been with my windows updates?

I am hooked on AOL i just recently went to aol explorer browser and AIM too which i think is better now than the old AOL sign on but still is missing a lot of features AOL has like if i want to sign on as another screen name how do i do that...god i get confused as never even knew i had internet explorer till 12 months ago as so used to logging on via AOL. sorry again Mel
