resopalrabotnick Posted January 14, 2006 CID Share Posted January 14, 2006 by the thing you call it it is either a board with a specialized processor to encode mpeg, or if it has connections on the board for external sources it is what i said above but requires an external source instead of being able to take video internally and encode it. although it might do both.
