I have a 2wire router and Noticed sometimes says Protocol: ANSI (T1.413) someothers say Protocol G.DMT, can anyone tell me what this Protocols means and wich is the best? Swimmer Posted January 17, 2006 CID Share Posted January 17, 2006 Not a problem.. The ASNI standard is a standard for ADSL from the Telco to the customer.. The ITU G 992.1 which is what the G.DMT offical standard number is.. basically outlines how to increase the speed of the service by mutiplexing.
