My speed didnt change much from that. :::.. Download Stats ..::: Connection is:: 1493 Kbps about 1.5 Mbps (tested with 1013 KB) Download Speed is:: 182 KB/s Tested From:: http://www.testmy.net/ Bottom Line:: 27 times faster than 56K you can download 1MB in 5.63 second(s) Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/cgi-bin/get.cgi?Test_ID=B5FS0FQ7M :::.. Download this settings i made http://www.testmy.net/forumz/download.php?id=177 extract it to your cablenut folder open cablenut, click delete cablenut tweaks+ save to registry, in top left corner click file, load custom settings file, browse to C:ProgramCablenutVanBurens cablenut settingsWinXP_2K_CABLE_DSLMSS1460 click on 4000 512 file and click save to registry again now reboot and post speed again good luck VanBuren Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
NoShow Posted December 14, 2004 CID Share Posted December 14, 2004 Hi dyslexic, Make sure your prefetch folder is cleaned out too or that will slow you down too. This is what I did with cablenut. I picked the one with 5000/768 and then I've been playin around with the RWIN and the DefaultSend Window and this is what I get pretty much on a regular basics. So you may want to try that. BTW: I'm also with Cox and the same package as you.. :::..
