I want to network 2 computers how do I do it. 1.I have cable connection With one computer downstairs and the 2nd one upstairs. The one upstairs is behind a router. 2.I want to be able to access both computers from both computers. 3.Example. I want to access the upstairs computer from the downstairs computer. And also access the downstairs computer from the upstairs computer. Hope all that explaines what I want to do. I have xp pro upstairs and xp home downstairs. Swimmer Posted April 5, 2006 CID Share Posted April 5, 2006 you can use microsoft print/file sharing to go this.. Are both computer using the router? or are you using Internet Connection Sharing? If you want to take control of them.. then look into real vnc.. otherwise if you just want to share printers/files then the guide should help.. Here is a guide that i wrote a while back..
