help with wireless router

Recommended Posts

I had issues with my DI-524 also..  However,  I couldnt even get the latest firmware on it..  well i did but it turned it into a crash machine.. all it did was reset over and over.  I would recommend not running the latest firmware from Dlink on the 524..  There was another thread that discuess this problem.  It seems that on some of the models the firmware would run fine.. and on other models it wouldnt run at all or is would be so buggy that all it would do is restart endlessly.  The 524 is a decent router.. it is more the firmware issue than a hardware issue.  If you can run the older firmware stable then I would do that.. otherwise look for a newer router.
