I have a Sony handycam but the software for it sucks and I can't figure out how to use it. I don't care if I have to pay a little bit of money for this software because if it's that good it's worth it. Also, what software do you use to backup your systems? Like Movies(MPEG) to dvd works very well using Nero. PS Nero also does HD Backup. I was hooked.. As far as burning I would go with Nero Ultra also.. Just easy for the beginner but also can do all the fancy advanced things.. Plus it has the Nero name.. System backup.. That it a good question.. There are many ways of doing this.. Personally I have western digital that run their free software, which I got through a class action suit , and it automatically does the backups for me. Pinnacle Studio 10.7 update now available? gonna give it a try,. As far as backup goes... just type computer backup in google. loads. of programs..some free some not!
