sstruppa Posted February 4, 2005 Author CID Share Posted February 4, 2005 wireless router for kids computer but im straight through with ethernet cable i have tcp optimizer and dr tcp rwin set at 37900 and mtu at 1400. do you know if router mtu needs to be set the same as the card? I dont think that matter to much the MTU on the router.. because it basically acts like a server.. However, if you have a 802.11g router you should be able to get 80-90% of your ethernet speed... I am not the one that normally does the speed tweaks.. that is Van Burren's area.. However, if you post a tracert to testmy.net I can get you started...
