VanBuren Posted February 12, 2005 CID Share Posted February 12, 2005 hey again only run your NIC in full duplex if you have a router installed download and install Cablenut https://testmy.net/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=1013.0;id=64 download this attached file (Cable & DSL 256 64.zip ), unzip it to C:ProgramCablenut open cablenut adjuster, in top left corner click file, load custom settings file, browse to C:ProgramCablenut and dubble click on the file you unzipped. now click save to registry and reboot check speed again, use the 2992 KB testfile for download and 1496KB testfile upstream, also make a new tweaktest and post result good luck VanBuren

LOL HELP! 24% ??? 220 / 256 = 0,859375 x 100 = 85,9 % of download cap and 45 / 64 = 0,703125 x 100 = 70,3 % of upload cap then add 10% tcp overhead and your up to 95,9 % down and 80,3 % up there is nothing more to do you can try changing duplex setting to half duplex and see what happens, if speed slow down, change back VanBuren
