virtuatrancer Posted February 16, 2005 Author CID Share Posted February 16, 2005 Okay so i connected my computer back to the router and changed the NIC back to 100 full duplx, i then did a speedtest at the http://speedtest.accesscomm.ca and it was really close to what it was getting before when it was a direct connection. Then i changed the cablenut settings to what you said and it seems to have gotten slower...but i think with the little changes the upload actually got better unless i'm crazy... :::.. VanBuren Posted February 16, 2005 CID Share Posted February 16, 2005 update your NIC driver, ethernet is always faster unless there is a problem Version 3 has a larger TcpWindowSize, you can try using same file at your wired pc.
