mklou Posted February 14, 2005 CID Share Posted February 14, 2005 Needed advice on whether it would be more advisable to put the ADSL Modem to the "Bridged" or "Router" Mode. Do not really know the difference between the two anyway.. The modem I have is : http://www.aztech.com/DSL-305E.htm I am using WINXP PPPoE to connect to the internet. The internect connection I am using is TMnet's Streamyx (Malaysian) on DSL. Information on the ISP is at:- www.tm.net.my Any advice is much appreciated. Swimmer Posted February 14, 2005 CID Share Posted February 14, 2005 it look like if you are going to use a router then you put it into router mode.. other wise it is just bridge.. I looked at this to determine this.. http://www.aztech.com/brochure/Aztech%20DSL305E%20ADSL%20Ethernet%20Bridge%20Modem%20Product%20Brochure.pdf the tech support for this company really blows!
