VanBuren Posted February 17, 2005 CID Share Posted February 17, 2005 leave cablenut as it is, do not apply any tweaks before your connection is stable again. try uninstall your firewall and install one of the free version from the steps, also manual set your duplex mode for your NIC VanBuren

VanBuren Posted February 17, 2005 CID Share Posted February 17, 2005 call your ISP and ask if you can lend a new modem, i dont think its in your PC, and you said you already tried to bypass router and it was the same good luck VanBuren
Storm Posted February 17, 2005 Author CID Share Posted February 17, 2005 I don't think that would help because the modem I am useing right now was just purchased new by me last week , I to thought that was what it might be.The old cable modem I had was a D-Links the one I am currently useing ow is a Motorola.Everything sems to be running fine now.My speeds are staying constant & no more connection issues.Think I might be able to squeeze a little more out of it? Or do you think I'm already maxing out?
