I'm on a Mac - OS X.3.8; Motorola Surfboard 5100; NetGear WGT624 router/switch. I'm using Comcast's DHCP-supplied DNS servers (204.127.202.19 / 216.148.227.79). Here are my speeds without any tweaking: :::.. Download Stats ..::: Connection is:: 4045 Kbps about 4 Mbps (tested with 2992 KB) Download Speed is:: 494 KB/s Tested From:: http://www.testmy.net/ Test Time:: Fri Feb 18 2005 15:09:01 GMT-0500 Bottom Line:: 72X faster than 56K 1MB download in 2.07 sec Diagnosis: Awesome! 20% + : 40.11 % faster than the average for host (attbi.com) Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/id-VSWYABRHF :::..
