Aggr3 Posted March 19, 2005 CID Share Posted March 19, 2005 I don't understand the question....what do you mean only reognizes 1.5 mb??? Are you refering to your speed being slow....or the % of host statment??
Lordzauron Posted March 19, 2005 Author CID Share Posted March 19, 2005 Well like i said i am on a 3mb connection but the test seems to be from a 1.5mb connection
Lordzauron Posted March 19, 2005 Author CID Share Posted March 19, 2005 I've just done another test on here http://www.dslzoneuk.net/speedtest.php This was my result 2.81 Mbps which is around 359.84 KB/s Your connection is performing spot on (94% efficiency) for a 3 Mbps service. Aggr3 Posted March 19, 2005 CID Share Posted March 19, 2005 the test can only read and calculate what YOUR speed really is...if you are in the UK ...a site in Europe will be faster..due to the distance involved...and the number of hubs and routers your handed through. Aggr3 Posted March 19, 2005 CID Share Posted March 19, 2005 If you try running a tracert to both sites you'll see the lag time..
