Pls help with my speed

Hi, I am running at 30% of my ISP average. Can you please help. Much appreciated.

1. OS is XP Pro

2. ISP is Verizon.

hey golibaaz and welcome to the forum :)

your MTU is off

do like this

download and install cablenut https://testmy.net/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=1013.0;id=64

open cablenut adjuster, click delete cablenut tweaks and click save to registry

now download Dr-Tcp http://www.dslreports.com/front/DRTCP021.exe

open it and make sure all settings look like this, if you see a value in MTU field, just erase it, use delete key

now click save and exit

reboot your pc, also reboot your modem/ router, leave it off for 30 full seconds

make a new tweaktest and speedtest

also post your advertised speed ( the speed your package has )

open cablenut in top left corner, click file, open customsettings file, browse to

dubbleclick on DSL PPPoE 1500 384.ccs

now you see alot of values in adjuster, click save to registry and reboot
