VanBuren Posted March 22, 2005 CID Share Posted March 22, 2005 great also test speed here http://e2epi.internet2.edu/ndt/ndt-server-list.html uploadtest on testmy.net is not really accurate ( it show to low speed for fiber optic connections above around 1 Mbps ) also test at dslreports VanBuren
KingCobra Posted March 22, 2005 Author CID Share Posted March 22, 2005 This may be true for some people, but I'm inclined to believe the result is accurate for my connection.
VanBuren Posted March 22, 2005 CID Share Posted March 22, 2005 This may be true for some people, but I'm inclined to believe the result is accurate for my connection. I am getting 4.3-4.5 readings from several dslreports test sites, dfw.speakeasy.net, the verizon fios test site, the NDT servers you mentioned and this site. Everyone else's mileage can/will vary. your 4 ms away from this server, thats why.... a accurate upload test, should handle pings up to atleast 60ms VanBuren
