MaddieRose Posted November 25, 2021 CID Share Posted November 25, 2021 My download speeds have been consistently below 2 mbps for 2 weeks. This morning 1.6 mbps and the test says that 98% of internet in us have better download speeds. You might say it's because I've been throttled down but I still have bonus data and it's the same. After spending over 10 hours on phone with various people at Hughesnet and using all of my data allowance "testing", on about the 4th call they allowed that a satellite was being repaired "intermittently" for possibly the next two months and that they would knock something off the bill. I haven't seen a thing about this outage at all on the internet and they are still selling services to people, how can they do that if they are down? Has anybody else been experiencing this and have been told this?
Bill Solomon Posted December 11, 2021 CID Share Posted December 11, 2021 HighesNet so far really sucks! I have worst than you. My upload speed is .5 Mbps. Download is about 17 Mbps. Not I am paying for!
