is this PPPoE dsl? I thought NTL was cable, but your MTU is 1492

do like this, open cablenut, click delete cablenut tweaks and click save to registry

now download Dr.Tcp http://www.dslreports.com/front/DRTCP021.exe

open it and make sure it looks exacly like this picture ( if you see any value in any field, use delete and erase it ) now click save and reboot
