Hiya,

ok im tearing my hair out here, and theres a lot of it,

ive read through the before you post sticky and done all the things it says, but im still gettin usless speeds,

im currently connected through a beklin wireless router, though i have no wireless cards, so im using as a 100mb hub and router,

the modem is connected directly to the router then my pc and one other is connected to the hub, the other pc is turned off practically all day, cept for a few hours at night..

i have windows xp sp2 installed, ( which i have just reinstalled this morning) cause i was getting problems connecting and speed problems, caused by major application conflict. so thought best to do a complete reinstall, and start again from scratch,

(im gonna install linux later and test that out with the speed thing) but as to the windows problem,

i have installed all the tweaks, and used tcpoptimiser (which i did get a increase BRIEFLY) where my orignal (before tweaks) was using 2% of the speed of the connection, now im up to 13% i am on a 1mb connection with no download limits or restrictions
