VanBuren Posted May 5, 2005 CID Share Posted May 5, 2005 it passed but the ping is very unstable, try this again at off peak hours, eg early morning or late night, then you can see if the ping gets more stable and also see if the 2% loss against your adress and some other nodes dissapear. VanBuren i tested it at 12:30 AM and it still doesnt look very good. here is the LQT http://www.dslreports.com/quality/nil/1726836 I dont know what to do. I have tried version 2 cable nut tweaks and version 6 but nothing seems to make my test speeds faster. I must have finally got the Cable Nut settings right but my speed is finally where it should be. I posted some speed tests below. I am much happier now. I used the 4000/384 Version 6 Cable Nut tweak but i changed SynAttackProtect to 0 TCP1323Opts to 0 GlobalMacTCPWindowSize to 64240 TCPWindowSize 64240 and then I took 64240 and multiplied it by 4 (which equaled 256960) and used that as the DefaultRecieveWindow. I dont really know if that is what made it work or it was just a weird thing where i changed it and it fixed itself. But i dont really care i am happy now.
