direchelp Posted July 1, 2005 CID Share Posted July 1, 2005 For the past 4 days my download speed has been slow and I have tried all the suggestions on this site about defragmenting and spyware etc. Up until 4 days ago my download speed was about 600Kbps everyday and now it is down to this. :::.. Download Stats ..::: Connection is:: 104 Kbps about 0.1 Mbps (tested with 579 kB) Download Speed is:: 13 kB/s Tested From:: https://testmy.net/ (server2) Test Time:: Fri Jul 1 10:10:03 CDT 2005 Bottom Line:: 2X faster than 56K 1MB download in 78.77 sec Diagnosis: May need help : running at only 12.87 % of your hosts average (direcpc.com) Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-6BKOY70RW I am running Windows XP Home SP2. My signal strength is 60 and I upgraded to the Pro package. I didn't have any download speed issues when I had the Consumer package. I want to know if anyone has actually had there speed problems fixed by calling Direcway support, cause from what I've read it doesn't seem like calling them will help.
