The results below come from a computer running Windows XP Home SP2 with the P2P patch, on a Wireless G network. I must also mention the cable guy said I had a fairly weak signal, and some noise in the lines out here where I am. I am using Mediacom. Before I discovered the tools to tweak connections, this was my speed: :::.. Download Stats ..::: Connection is:: 2595 Kbps about 2.6 Mbps (tested with 2992 kB) Download Speed is:: 317 kB/s Tested From:: https://testmy.net/ (server1) Test Time:: Thu Aug 4 11:13:03 UTC-1200 2005 Bottom Line:: 46X faster than 56K 1MB download in 3.23 sec Diagnosis: May need help : running at only 79.31 % of your hosts average (mchsi.com) Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-YFR1AT7VU Then, I got CableNut, and followed VanBuren's tutorial. I came out with this: :::.. I played around, and used VanBuren's settings for all of my fields except for RWIN. I used TCP For the two RWIN values. I finally topped out at: :::..
