Guest kamil234 Posted September 5, 2005 CID Share Posted September 5, 2005 no i dont thik you should get capped on business cable, since its for business and different businesses need more or less bandwith, so i dont think you should get capped on business cable..just check it out while you're looking at it and compare the different ISP's in your area
ExTrem3 Gam3r 43 Posted September 5, 2005 Author CID Share Posted September 5, 2005 You must comply with all current bandwidth, data storage, and other limitations on the Service established by Comcast and its suppliers. You must ensure that your activity (including, but not limited to, use made by you or others of Web Site Hosting) does not improperly restrict, inhibit, or degrade any other user's use of the Service, nor represent (in the sole judgment of Comcast) an unusually large burden on the network. In addition, you must ensure that your activities do not improperly restrict, inhibit, disrupt, degrade or impede Comcast's ability to deliver the Service and monitor the Service, backbone, network nodes, and/or other network Services What a rip off lol. resopalrabotnick Posted September 5, 2005 CID Share Posted September 5, 2005 ripoff? it's blindingly obvious that this would be so. if you intend to host whatever on a comp it means that you know (or hope) you will receive shitloads of traffic. a business cable contract implies you get a little more bandwidth to play with, while at the same time paying for volume. if you get no speed/volume cap, you are insanely lucky. check other deals for corporate use, for that matter compare to webhosting packages. every packet you transmit or receive goes <cha-ching>.
