upgrade from 4mb to 6mb dl and only get 5mb why?

iv been reading the posts and ran the cablnut and ran dr.tcp and cycled my router-modem-pc and made sure my XP HOME sp2 was clean and ran other tests from other sites like broadbandreports and well my adelphia 6mb seems to be not as fast as i thought it would from 4mb but i am getting over 800 upload.
