Basik Posted November 18, 2004 CID Share Posted November 18, 2004 Just if anyone hasn't brought it up yet.. For some reason my connection doesn't burst anymore.. It gradually accelerates. I think that a 10-20 mb. Would be perfect.. Just a little thought ..
RTB Posted November 18, 2004 CID Share Posted November 18, 2004 Yes, same here. 10 MB tests do add alot to bandwidth use though, so it's a bad idea to make such big tests public. CA3LE does this already, and he posted a link a few times already.
VanBuren Posted November 18, 2004 CID Share Posted November 18, 2004 Just if anyone hasn't brought it up yet.. For some reason my connection doesn't burst anymore.. It gradually accelerates. I think that a 10-20 mb. Would be perfect.. Just a little thought .. Small testfiles is good if you like to use the burst, but on larger files your burst will have almost no affect. But the thing thats important is what real speed you have, so burst on speedtest is not a good thing. with 1 MB test here i get around 2 Mbps, with 3 MB test around 3.3 Mbps, with 12 MB test around 3.6 Mbps. so my burst sucks too VanBuren
