resopalrabotnick Posted December 7, 2005 CID Share Posted December 7, 2005 hm, appears pound isn't locked. strange. do you hook the modem up to the phoneline or does it get fed from cableTV?
VanBuren Posted December 7, 2005 CID Share Posted December 7, 2005 And before you say vanBuren this isn't cached as it was the first thing i did on the net after re-installing and doing patches. you know i had the very same problem myself, getting cached results from main server. I had to uninstall norton internet security, didnt work with my router. Its looking good, since its not like 50 Mbps then you can suspect a cached score. to make sure post some scores from flatfile test http://www.testmy.net/o-000 Edit: also test speed against some dslr servers, your speed would pawn compared to the rest http://www.dslreports.com/archive/btcentralplus.com i suggest these eastcoast servers, should be best oversea http://speedtest.cogeco.net/ http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ or the nac server, but then you need to register at dslreports and browse to http://www.dslreports.com/stest VanBuren
