i am using a homeportal 1000 by 2wire, strange because i am very close to my station 2800 ft. = 0.5 miles. So there shouldnt be any reason for me to only get 1.6 mpbs unless it is capped, do you live in san francisco? I need more speed

hey lilaznhobo, just wanted to know how far you are from your dsl substation? Because i just upgraded to the pro package and getting only 1.6 whereas you are getting 2.5 which is pretty good in my opinion, also what kind of modem you are using. thanks
