hi everyone. im Joe in Jersey ..
I've been a Comcast subscriber for like 4 years now. I've been having trouble uploading lately. If I go through FTP it will upload like the 10 to 20k of the file and then it will just stop and sit there until it or the server returns a timeout. This issue has been persistant for 4 days now. Normally I'm plugged into a router on a 2 computer mini-network, but since I've been having problems with the internet I've since turned off my server machine and plugged my main computer in directly for best diagnosis. I'm wondering if Comcast has imposed limitations on me because of excessive bandwidth usage? I host a small FTP / website which was running 24/7 for a good few months.
I found some details on my modem, which is an RCA made by Thomson model DCM235.
