well i dropped my Bellsouth account today and purchased my Vonage hardware from Best Buy. soon i'll be surfing the web 2.5x faster and saving money!! i'm really happy with my decision and sorry for all those with the HSI problems. Plus with Adelphia upping the speeds again things are just going to get better!

you may. i just got it today under the Best Buy promotion of 24.95 for 6 months.. after that it'll be the advertised 42.95. i'm going to keep my Bellsouth account open until Monday. Hopefully these results keep up and I keep Adelphia HSI, this is more then double the speed of my Bellsouth Ultra DSL I am really enjoying it.

Well I still have my Bellsouth FastAccess DSL Ultra 1.5/256 advertised. With Bellsouth I used to see about 1.4 down but since our last hurricane season I was about 1.2 down 211 up. I recently decided to make the switch to Adelphia and Vonage VOIP. My first move was to test how my Adelphia connection would be because of all the problems users in my area are having. There is a 30 page thread going over 30 days of users all over South Florida with similar issues on another broadband board. I thought I should test the waters first before I dive in and ge VOIP. After a never ending 4 hours waiting for the new user MAC server to be done with its maintenance I got a good level 2 tech in chat. He quickly got me up and running, here are my results.
