What ever happened to BroadBand over Power Lines? What kind of ul and dl could be expected from that technology and will it ever happen?

Thank you dn0. It is a new Toshiba modem that they installed yesterday. Was a RCA. The RCA was losing packets. The Toshiba is not according to TWC. I am running WinXP with SP2 installed. Last night when I tested on testmy.net I was 2-6 kb/s. This morning I am sticking at 45kbs.
