no ive done it before but it was on a diff computer ill give that a try and go from there my connection with the cable company is great makes me wonder if they just dont wanna give out what they advertise but i do live in an area that sucks bandwidth down im curious to see what happens as the day goes on

So im suppose to get 25- 30 dl and 4-5 ul i get my dl no prob around 30 but my upload wont seem to go past 2.5 and is normally around 1.7 what can i do to fix this problem i already talked to cox pinged my router not missing any packets running 9.24ms speed from cox so my connection is perfect to my moden i lose it in my network or something got a linksys e2000 router my computer is hardwired :::.. ya cable is the best in oklahoma but cox sucks were gonna switch to fios when sbc comes out with it i hve a big house that the cable runs a long way to get to the room and cox is tryin to charge us to replace the cable because its out of date and its not worth it because we gonna switch so thew last time the cox guy was here he told us we needed new cable and we told him we didnt want it because were getting rid of them when fios comes out

things ive noticed about adjusting all the tweaks help a lot if you have BB but it only helps me when i goto big sites / domain names when i got to the free sites and stuff it takes forever to load but larger sites like this one load 10 times as fast

Scroll down and look for the following entries: network.http.pipelining network.http.proxy.pipelining network.http.pipelining.maxrequests Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading. 2. Alter the entries as follows: Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true" Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true" Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30.
