    It's hard to believe there aren't more Mac users in a great place like this. My son uses an HP, and is quite pleased with it, but I've always preferred the Mac OS, so hey, it's all good, IMHO!!! Glad to be here, and will take your good advice. kbg

    New to this forum, but not to computers. Does anyone know of speed boosters for Macs? I have an awesome iMac G5 1.8 GHz w/satellite connection. Every now and then, the speed drops to VERY slow. I am connected to a wireless router which sends a signal to my son's computer in the next room. Any advice appreciated!!
