Because the 256 one is made of very weak T-Alloy and CGC770- Internal Cirquits meaning it has a GREAT chance of breaking(as bad as say... 80% chance itll break within 1 month), whereas the 128 tends to last a LONG time due to quality materials.

Shotgun or multi link whichever..(im using 2 different modems) and yeah speakeasy speed tests are glitched for me as well, I forgot to do one. Last Result: Download Speed: 88 kbps (11 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 154 kbps (19.3 KB/sec transfer rate) Usually upload hits 300-350k which I know is completely wrong, because at megaupload.com it displays about 4-5K/sec so yeah speakeasy's upload isnt very reliable. Ill post a single line test later since im still on dual, and I hate turning them off as I said it takes luck to get back in, sometimes I just have to give up.

On single-line dial up I get about 43/28 on average, download at about 5.4K sec. Live about 1 mile from phone company but ive called many times and cant get their 3MB/768k deal and they dont have any ISDN cirquits or w.e so im pretty much screwed. Satalite was a joke as well, I pulled 9K/sec at the most with basicly no upload. Havent tried any wireless but I dout theres one near me because im so unlucky I use dual dialup to download files, its pretty good on average(when it actually works that is, it screws up so much) Heres a test I just did(connection seems fast today) :::..
