  1. TCP options string = 020405b001010402

    MTU = 1496

    MTU is fully optimized for broadband.

    MSS = 1456

    Maximum useful data in each packet = 1456, which equals MSS.

    Default TCP Receive Window (RWIN) = 23360

    RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 0 bits

    Unscaled TCP Receive Window = 23360

    For optimum performance, consider changing RWIN to a multiple of MSS.

    Other RWIN values that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:

    512512 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)

    256256 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)

    128128 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)

    64064 (MSS x 44)

    bandwidth * delay product (Note this is not a speed test):

    Your TCP Window limits you to: 934.4 kbps (116.8 KBytes/s) @ 200ms

    Your TCP Window limits you to: 373.76 kbps (46.72 KBytes/s) @ 500ms

    MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON

    Time to live left = 117 hops

    TTL value is ok.

    Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF

    Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON

    IP type of service field (RFC1349) = 00000000 (0)

  2. ps has everyone changed there qos packet settings as if it is not configured xp will automatically save 20% of your bandwidth for background programs like auto updates sending files etc  ??

    also www.speedguide.net have some very useful tweaks and patches and stuff

  3. hi well its hard for me to say how i got this speed  cos i really dont know lol im always trying different optimizing software and different tweaks to the point where i cant remember what ive done. when i got this score last year i was with wanadoo with2.2meg package
