  1. alright, next time this happens ill definitly give you the log file, but what scan do i do? i dont see anything like memory scan..
  2. the most used thing is Trillian in the task manager but its only using 24,000 k, which isnt a lot, and even if i close that out it wil still stay the same, i dont know what can be causing this because i checked out all that stuff
  3. Here is my problem: Out of no where my computer just starts to get really laggy and slow, so i press CTRL ALT DELETE to see whats running. So when i see CPU usage, it says 100%, with only 32 processes loaded, and just 2 mins ago it was at cpu of 0-15%. i dont understand why it would just jump to 100% like that without anything else loading. i also dont know if its a software or hardware problem. Specs: P4 2.4 ghz 1mb l2 cache 80gb hd P4P800-MX mobo 1mb of dual channel memory

    Ad-Aware Problem

if it is spyware/adware problem put your computer in safe mode then do a scan, the same problem happened to me and that fixed it
  5. dont think thats it though because all my other computers work, and i set the dns servers on it manually from the settings on this computer
  6. already tried that, and when i did that it said its unable to flush it, i forgot to mention that
  7. On my other computer, ive been having a dns problem..i can go on websites and stuff like that but i cant connect to any service like AIM, Trillian, Yahoo, ect, and when i try to repair my connection it gives me an error saying "Error Purging DNS Resolver Cache". i have been researching this for a while and it all points to saying go the the services and make sure DNS client is enabled, and yes it is. i aslo tried resetting my router and stuff like that.. Is the DNS purging problem the reason why my aim service isnt working? If it is, how do i fix the DNS problem?
