  1. Will I have to change any of these settings if I start adding multiple computers and a router? I normally have 3- 4 on the net the same time. I know if I want them to have as good connection as me I should give tem the cablenut settings, but will they change if more comps and a router are added?

  3. I have done both, virus in safe mode with networking and spyware both in normal and safe mode with networking. Is there some settings that may be messed up int he registry? I'm used to cable with a MTU of 1500, and now mine is set to 1492, is theer a way to test if this is the problem? and the MTU I should have?

  4. Test ran for 45 minutes and did not complete. I have no other firewalls running. Whewn the guy hooked it up I said I only had 13dB going into my phone line, that was for outside where the phone line comes into the house. I also have 13dB at the phone jack with a barnd new phone cord and new modem. I could literally throw a rock and hit one of their serveers if ti was outside, hat's how close I am to them. Any ideas?

  5. TCP options string = 020405ac0103030301010402

    MTU = 1492

    MTU is optimized for PPoE DSL broadband. If not, consider raising MTU to 1500 for optimal throughput.

    MSS = 1452

    MSS is optimized for PPPoE DSL broadband. If not, consider raising your MTU value.

    Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 522720

    RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 3 bits (scale factor of 6)

    Unscaled Receive Window = 65340

    RWIN is a multiple of MSS

    Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:

    511104 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)

    255552 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)

    127776 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)

    63888 (MSS x 44)

    bandwidth * delay product (Note this is not a speed test):

    Your RcvWindow limits you to: 20908.8 kbps (2613.6 KBytes/s) @ 200ms

    Your RcvWindow limits you to: 8363.52 kbps (1045.44 KBytes/s) @ 500ms

    I am more concerned with my upload speed, but I want both faster if possible. I have a genric Linksys router  Is there anything I can do to make it faster? I just selected optimal settings TCP Optimizer and nothing more.
