i cleaned out all the internet temp files using ccleaner and window washer and this is what i got. i dont use google accelerator and i have dsl :::.. i started with 3 mb but they were going to bump it up to 5mb because i asked them to. They said that we don't normally get 5mb where i am but they were going to work on it. I do use tcpOptimizer but this time i used TuneUp Utilities to adjust the internet Tcp's

what is the difference bewteen - 100baseTX, 100baseTx full_duplex, 10baseT, 10baseT-full_duplex. i use auto sense but i was wondering if any of the other settings are better? do these settings have any effect on the router settings? some sites i go to take forever to load and im thinking its the router?

what i ended up doing to my comp is taking off mcafee.....it takes up alot of resources. i also press cntl alt delete and look at the running processes and see if there is anything running that u doent really need. the other thing u could look for is "Sysinternals Process Explorer" which will help in seeing what is running. cant remember where i got mine but i refer to it all the time. as for a firewall i now use sygate and a for Anti virus i use AVG. both use far less resources and my comp runs better

cable tv and cable internet run on different frequencies.....internet runs on a much higher frequency. the cable can go out and u can still have internet because its a totally different frequency being cut. im not sure of the exact frequency in question but thats how it works

i have comcast and i use internet explorer. both have icons that compete for icon space in the top right corner. i can see that they both being used because they flash back and forth from the windows icon to the comcast icon. i dont know if this is conflicting with anything but its annoying. any comments or solutions?

i tried looking for what u said but that doesnt work for favorites. i dont get the same screen anyways. i have since tried a different approach.....i maximised the favorite and resaved the page but it still opens "restored down". not minimised but restored down. i dont get it....its just so annoying. i have to maximise the page everytime i open it.

i have xp. i used to do this tweak...something like holding shift or ctrl at the same time as the close button on the top right corner. but it doesnt wok anymore. i have a favorites saved and everytime i open it it is restored down (the button next to the x) what i want is for it to open maximised when i open the favorites link. ive tried the settings in the folders option but it doesnt work. i know it gotta be a simple process but i cant figure it out

i am puzzled....some of my screens are minimized when i open them. Ive gone to the folder options to "remember each folders last view", but this doesn't work. i maximize it and close it but it still opens minimized? i used to know a tweak that keeps it open maximized but i cant for the life of me remember it.
