    Wow getting much better but still not quite close to 5 megs. I should mention that I have gotten speeds between 4-5 megs but usually never during this time 4-9 pm when it gets pretty congested. :::..     Hey I also have Cable and Im hoping you can help me. I'm running Windows XP and my ISP is Rogers Extreme, my advertised speeds are 5.0 Mbps download and 800 Kbps upload. I rarely if ever come close to reaching this speed, maybe only in the early hours of the morning when no ones on. I downloaded Cablenut and installed the settings but it doesnt seem to help much. My speeds usually average between 2.0 - 3.0 mbps but sometimes it can get much slower.
