just starting useing firefox here with my verizon online dsl.seems like my downloads and uploads are faster including my browswer.

What's the best web browser to use? Do different web browsers make your dsl speeds decreace or increase? currenty i'm running firefox.

hi all, i got rid of my westell 2200 modem and just got the actiontec GT704WG modem today.also i found that verizon does not carry the westell 2200 anymore. just thought i would let you all know that.can anyone tell me more about the actiontech GT704WG MODEM.

hi all i just called verizon online dsl support they told me the westell 2200 is no more.and they sent me a dsl modem in the mail and i got it today.it's actiontec GT704WC modem.

thanks for the info that explains alot.also i was told i have my own private line-sub station.don't know anything about a substation.

i also use windows xp and it's firewall.don't know if the westell 2200 has a firewall and if does how to u use it or check it.can xp's firewall mess the speeds up on this site or any other sites.

hey ppl, is it normal for your dsl speeds to go from 2.9mbps to 1.5mbps.i have verizon's 3mbps package here.and is this site the best site to test your speeds.verizon's infospeed test site always gives me a 1.5mbps this site and other sites give me 2.9mbs.my upload speeds are always 739up.cnet's broadband speed test put's me at 1.0mbps. so why is all this stuff crazy lol.also i do have my pwn private dsl line but can traffic here in the afternoon and evenings still afect my dsl?
