Hello. I was wondering if i can go surpass the advertised speed of my connection. I have Charter Communication 3Mbps cable internet. I'm also in California. Well I tried cablenut and a couple of the settings. Here are my results from www.testmy.net. Just wondering if I can go pass 3Mbps. I'm on a wireless network, using D-Link AirPlus DWL-G520 (rev. network adapter. The modem is directly connected to my sister computer which is upstair. My wireless network connection signal strength says that it's low. The house also has wireless telephones and I have one right here in my room a couple feet away from the computer. The stats of my test are pretty good. But I'm just wondering if I can do any better because of all the interference that I have in my house. [wireless phones, signal strength low due to modem being upstairs, etc.] Thanks! :::..
